John Mule One of the Doctor's I work with is leaving the state. He is selling a 9 year old John Mule - 15hh+. Bob has rode and packed on this mule. The mule has not been worked very much in the last couple of years due to work schedules. He doesn't have any bad habits. Asking $1500 but negotiable to the right home. Contact da_platt@yahoo.com Jack and Stud Service Mammoth Jack - Mares only - "Joe" is young and has not reached full growth. Pecos Pinto Draft Horses in Estancia, NM. Contact Lowell or Gayle Clark at 505-384-1000 Rides and Drives She is easy to shoe, load, haul, tie, worm, give shots to, she crosses water easily. I can have a great ride on her, then we can come home and lead Sage (Stacy's 3 yr old granddaughter around on her). I can put one of my nieces on her that are non riders and she is good for them. Traffic means nothing to her, she could care less. You can pony off of her, she has helped me start several babies. She ponys really well herself. She is just an allround wonderful little mule. I have to get $3000 for her. Oh, and she will pasture with anything. She goes out great with my minis and she seems to adore them. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask... lisasmules@yahoo.com2 Mules for Sale My name is Jerry Montgomery. My husband and I retired from New Mexico Department of Game and Fish (the name Rigoni rings a bell; Roy, NM?) and moved to the southeastern part of the Texas Panhandle, where my two mules are suffering mightily from cedar flies and one of them from an allergy to no-seeums (she's looking pretty ratty right now from scratching off hair on her face, neck, and withers). They were born and raised on a ranch southwest of Socorro, and their mother was a mare owned by Scott Martin of San Acacia (now deceased), a member of your group. They were saddle trained (and very well) by G.T. Nunn, a guide and outfitter south of Belen, but not ridden much. However, I have to say that they remember that training (don't run from halters, stand well while being saddled, trailer well, no trouble with feet, etc.). I need to get these mules back to drier New Mexico where they won't suffer from these problems. They are six and eight years of age, wonderful gentle animals. They are my babies, and I want them to have useful lives with loving, gentle owners who appreciate mules. I don't know much about mule prices lately, but a good home is worth something to me. I will talk about the price with anyone who might be interested. Contact jerrylynn@wildblue.net Mules, Horses & Donkeys for sale: Leon Spain http://www.lslivestock.com/ |
