Randy Travis is a legend in the
Miniature Donkey world. As a jack he was
used as a herd sire to pass on, not only
his obviously gorgeous spot pattern, but
more importantly for the way he moves,
for which he has been revered. He has
been an outstanding producer of both
halter and performance stock, and
several Champions in both. He stamped
his offspring with superior quality bone
structure and straight legs. Randy has a
long show record himself, including
ACOSA National Champion 2002, and two
National Champion offspring in the show
ring. He also won the very prestigious
title of
SUPREME CHAMPION SIRE at the 2008 NMDA
Nationals.
In 2010, Randy was gelded & retired from
his breeding duties, living at Li'l
Angels Miniature Donkeys.
Recently, Elizabeth Moore made the trip
to Li'l Angels & convinced owner Jeannie
Richards to let Randy come to New
Mexico.
Randy has begun his new career as a
Performance Donkey with all the
willingness & positive attitude that
made him so desirable as a breeding
sire. Look for Randy at many future
RGMDA events.
